2018 - WATOG SURVEY ON BASIC OB/GYN TRAINING ACROSS THE WORLD

The World Association of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynecology (WATOG) in accordance with the FIGO (International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics) is conducting a survey about basic OB/GYN training globally. Throughout the world training varies, even from program to program within the same country. In an effort to improve education and standardize this training, we are interested in learning more about your experiences.

The questions concern basic OB/GYN training that is the postgraduate training from medical school graduation up till the certification of specialization in general OB/GYN.

Please take 15 minutes to complete this form and to help evaluate the status of training in your country.

The results of the survey will be presented at the FIGO World Congress in October 2018 and then posted on our website once the data collection is finished.

2017 – FIRST WATOG SURVEY ON THE ULTRASOUND TRAINING IN EUROPE

WATOG in accordance with the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) conducted a worldwide survey about the ultrasound training of OB/GYN trainees. Thanks to a great participation, 1058 replies from 69 countries, from all continents were collected. The analysis is being finalized and the results will soon be submitted for publication.

2016 – FIRST WATOG SURVEY ON THE ULTRASOUND TRAINING IN EUROPE

WATOG in accordance with the European Network of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ENTOG) conducted a survey on the ultrasound training of young OB/GYNs in Europe. The results were presented to the FIGO and the ISUOG and soon will be published here.
